Example 1:
Hello, my name is Cody Coyote, and I am a senior environmental sciences major. I am interested in building on
my experience and interest in environmental sustainability with an internship in an environmentally-conscious
organization. Over the past few years, I have strengthened these skills by working with a local council on water
conservation strategies to support water quality and habitats. Eventually, I would like to develop education
programs on water conservation awareness. I read that your organization is involved in water quality projects.
Can you tell me how someone with my experience may ft into your organization?
Example 2:
Good afternoon, my name is Caity Coyote, and I am a junior studying computer science at CSUSB. I am interested
in cybersecurity and web development because they challenge me to use my analytical skills to secure information.
Last semester, I worked with a professor to develop a program that analyzed the psychological efects of social
media on Twitter users. I am seeking summer internship opportunities and want to learn more about your
company. Can you tell me about the opportunities your company provides?
